Gallery 631: Crich World War Two Home Front Event - August 2016 |
One of the most popular special events at the Crich Tramway Village is traditionally the 1940s events and the second of these for 2016 took place between Monday 8th and Sunday 14th August. As always this event has seen visiting vehicles intermingling with the trams including a Spitfire on display at Town End. On the tram front Glasgow 812 – currently unserviceable – was converted to wartime condition including lamp hoods and blackout windows.
Photographs in this collection were taken by Keith Chadbourne & Hazel Quarmby in August 2016. |
