Gallery 617: Blackpool Tramway - 28th to 30th May 2016

The Spring Bank Holiday weekend between Saturday 28th and Monday 30th May saw another period of intensive heritage tram operation with the popular Gold timetable in use once again. This saw six heritage trams per day in service with all of the trams making one trip to Fleetwood. It was warm and the sun shone which meant the open trams were the stars of the show with Marton Box 31 and Boat 230 in use on all three days joined by Boat 600 (on the Saturday) and Boat 227 (on Sunday and Monday). A further eight heritage trams saw action over the weekend and all are featured in this gallery along with some shots of the Flexity2s in service of the normal timetabled service.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Gareth Prior between 28th & 30th May 2016.
