Gallery 608: London Tramlink - The Four New Stadlers

Friday 24th March 2016 saw the introduction into service of the last of the second batch of Stadler Variobahn trams on London Tramlink and in this gallery we celebrate these four trams - now all available for revenue earning service. 2560 had been the first of this batch to arrive in Croydon when it was delivered to Therapia Lane Depot on 4th May 2015 with the remaining trams arriving in September, October and December of the same year. Of these four trams two - 2560 and 2562 - feature a special "New trams for Croydon" livery which makes it seem as if they have just been unwrapped!
