Gallery 605: Manchester Metrolink - April 2016 Part One

Manchester Metrolink has without doubt established itself as the centre of UK light rail and tram operations in recent years with the continued expansion of the network seeing tram radiating from Manchester City Centre to locations including Altrincham, Bury, Manchester Airport and Rochdale. During April British Trams Online regular contributor David Bosher spent five days in the city covering the entirety of the network and in this first part of his visit we concentrate on the Altrincham, Bury and Eccles lines in addition to all City Centre lines including the most recent addition to Metrolink - Second City Crossing to Exchange Square.
