| Gallery 602: Beamish Great War Steam Fair - April 2016 |

The annual steam fair at Beamish was for 2016 rechristened the Great War Steam Fair and took place at the museum between 7th and 10th April with this gallery featuring photos from 8th and 9th April. On the tramway front during these two days five different trams ran in service with Sunderland 16, visiting Blackpool 147 and Oporto 196 in service on both days alongside Newcastle 114 on the Friday. The Saturday saw the debut in service of Sheffield 264 following its extensive overhaul and repaint with the tram looking resplendent running with passengers for the first time in 13 years. All five of these trams feature extensively in this collection but the tramway is just one small part of the event and, as normally, we also include numerous photos of other vehicles on site including those running around the museum's roads and also on the four railways.
