Gallery 592: Blackpool 634 goes home - February 2016 |
On Friday 26th February 2016, Blackpool Brush Railcoach 634 returned home to the Fylde Coast after being donated to the Blackpool Heritage Trust, to join the heritage fleet. The tram was previously acquired by enthusiast Andy Ashton and left Blackpool bound for Rushden in November 2009, before heading to the North East Land, Sea & Air Museum in 2014. During its time away the tram has received an extensive cosmetic restoration which has completely transformed the interior, whilst on the outside it has been treated to a full repaint in the attractive 1990s 'green skirt' livery. This collection of images show the tram leaving the North East and then arriving back in Blackpool.
Photographs in this collection were taken by Rob Bray, Bradley Jones & Shaun Whitehead. |
