Gallery 588: Summerlee: Museum of Scottish Industrial Life - February 2016

In this gallery we head north of the border for a look at Summerlee: Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, probably the heritage tramway in the UK which has the most operating days in a year. The service was being maintained by access tram Dusseldorf 392 but Lanarkshire 53 was also out on the tramway under test. The other two trams on site - Glasgow 1017 and Glasgow 1245 - are currently out of service with one undergoing an extensive restoration whilst the former is undergoing maintenance.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by David Mee on 12th February 2016.
