Gallery 571: Trams in Northern Ireland - April 2015

Onto the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and the first vehicle we find is a relic of the 3' gauge Portstewart Tramway in the form of 0-4-0 Vertical Boiler Steam Tram 2. This is in the railway gallery at the Museum and is displayed in its later Belfast and Northern Counties Railway livery. A two mile long tramway linking the town with the railway station on the Portrush line which closed in 1926.
