Gallery 571: Trams in Northern Ireland - April 2015


The Fintona Horse Tramway was a remarkable survivor remaining horse powered until it closed in 1957. In the museum is horse car 381 and luggage wagon and shown here with the standard fake horse in front. The tramway was 5'3" gauge and connected the town with the Great Northern Railway of Ireland station at Fintona Junction.
