Gallery 563: Wirral Bus & Tram Show - 4th October 2015 |
The 18th Wirral Bus and Tram Show took place on Sunday 4th October with the Birkenhead Heritage Tramway once again taking centre stage. Five different trams ran in service during the main event with the highlight being the debut at the event of Liverpool 245 which was in service all day. It was joined by Wallasey 78 and Liverpool 762 during all day with Lisbon 730 being used in the morning and Birkenhead 20 in the afternoon. The other two operational trams on the line - the Hong Kong built 69 and 70 - were stabled at Pacific Road all day whilst at Taylor Street Liverpool 43 was on display and progress could be seen on the restoration of the now Warrington 28. Photos of all the above feature in this collection.
All Photographs in this collection were taken by Gareth Prior on 4th October 2015. |
