Gallery 554: Railcoach 680 returns to Blackpool - August 2015

After being treated to a high quality repaint by Heritage Painting, Blackpool Ex-Towing Railcoach 680 made the journey by road from the Heaton Park Tramway back to Blackpool on Friday 21st August, returning the tram to Rigby Road depot less than two years after it initially departed. No time was wasted in preparing 680 for service and it duly made its debut on heritage tour duty on Sunday 30th August, working the 1000 Pleasure Beach to Fleetwood journey and starting off a new chapter in its eventful life. This special gallery features images of the tram returning 'home', as well as covering its first few days of service back in Blackpool.

Photographs in this collection were taken by Bradley Jones, Tony Waddington & Shaun Whitehead.
