Gallery 543: Trams at the Docks - June 2015

At the end of June we were invited along to visit the Wyre Dock storage site which contains the majority of the trams owned by the Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust as well as some privately owned Blackpool trams which have recently returned from Merseyside. A strange location for trams maybe but it is fascinating to see a fairly large collection of Blackpool trams in one place. Eleven trams are currently on site and they feature in this collection including some views inside the trams where there are some unexpected treats to be seen. All photos were taken with full permission of the Fleetwood Heritage Leisure Trust - please do not attempt to access the site without permission as it is private property. If you would like to see all of these trams in one place - with some destined for pastures new in the near future - you can book a place through the FHLT's website at www.tramtalk.co.uk with an open day planned for Saturday 18th July but if intending to visit you must pre-book.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Gareth Prior on 20th June 2015.
