Gallery 528: Heaton Park Tramway Welcomes Blackpool 280 - 26th April 2015

The arrival of Blackpool 280 at the Heaton Park Tramway provided the perfect excuse to stage a spectacular Blackpool tram event on Sunday 26th April 2015. As well as being 280's first day in passenger service at its new home, the day also saw three other trams - Blackpool Vanguard 619, Blackpool Brush 623 and Manchester 765 - in service, with two further Blackpool trams - Railgrinder 1 and Balloon 702 - on display. With a procession, some superb line-ups and a few other surprises this was another first class event from Manchester's heritage tramway and this gallery shows the highlights of the day.

All Photographs in this collection were taken by Andrew Waddington.
