Gallery 504: Manchester Metrolink - November 2014

A collection of photos from Manchester Metrolink all taken on 22nd November by two separate photographers across the network. First up we have photos from David Bosher who made his way north from London on board a UK Railtours trip. Although aimed primarily at visitors for the Christmas Markets David took the chance to visit Metrolink and managed to travel through to Oldham and then to East Didsbury before having a quick ride one stop along the new Manchester Airport line. The second set of photos come from Ken Jones who made his first visit for the new trams. Starting off at East Didsbury Ken went all the way to Rochdale before returning to St Peters Square and then onto Ashton-under-Lyne. A return trip to St Peters Square followed before making his way to Bury - a line he last traversed when EMUs were working the system! Finally it was back to St Peters Square and then back to his car at East Didsbury.

Photographs in this collection were taken by David Bosher & Ken Jones.
