Gallery 491: London Tramlink Stadlers spread their wings - October 2014

During the period Saturday 25th October until Sunday 2nd November London Tramlink services were suspended between Therapia Lane and Mitcham Junction to allow double tracking work to take place around Beddington Lane. This meant that route 4 (the Therapia Lane to Elmers End service) did not operate and meant that the Stadlers were able to spread their wings a bit more than usual. On Friday 31st October all six of the Stadlers were in service at one point in the day with the Beckenham Junction route seeing not only those vehicles but also the two all over adverted CR4000s allowing views of all the trams carrying adverts on this branch.

All photographs in this collection were taken by Ian Buck.
