Gallery 432: Metrolink Oldham town centre extension opens

The latest piece of the Manchester Metrolink jigsaw opened to the public on Monday 27th January with four new stops joining the network. This collection of photos features images from the first day including shots of 3036 operating the very first passenger journey through Oldham town centre shortly after 0600. We also have a few images from the following day including some inconsiderate parking in the town centre causing an obstruction on the track and the infrastructure on the old line being removed.
