Sunday 3rd May 2026 saw Blackpool Balloon 717 used for a tour for the Fylde Tramway Society as it became the first heritage tram to run with passengers on board since January 2026 when the 2025 Illumination Tours came to an end. The tour included a couple of trips up to North Station (the first time for 717) as well as much of the rest of the tramway. This included a brief break on Pleasure Beach loop which is where the tram is seen, nicely reflected in the puddle on the outer loop.
