The day started at around 1000 with the first trolley being York Railways 163. This is an unusual J.G. Brill built "curve side" car which was built in 1924. The curve sided car was a proprietary design of the Cincinnati Car Company and as such J.G. Brill was forced to cease building this design of car after the five cars built for the York Railways Company. 163 was in service until the end of trolley service in the City of York which occurred on 5th February 1939. The car became a summer home along Conewago Creek north of York after the York shutdown until it was dislodged from its foundation in the summer of 1972 when Hurricane Agnes flooded the area. The carbody was then donated to the Rockhill Trolley Museum. Parts were obtained from all over the world to restore this carbody to an operational condition.
