Beamish - March 2026

This is a collection of photos taken at Beamish: The Living Museum of the North mainly focussing on the trams both in service and at rest in the depot. These were taken over a two-day visit in March 2026 with both days seeing a two-tram service consisting of Sunderland 16 and Sheffield 264. The only other operational tram at this time was Oporto 196 but that remained in the depot throughout. We also take a look into the depot where Lisbon 730 is prominent during its repaint into Newcastle Corporation Tramways livery. And away from the trams we also take a brief look at some of the replica and heritage buses transporting visitors around the museum. Photographer: Ryan Birchall
