At the front of road 2 in the depot was Lisbon 730. Previously part of the Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society fleet it was transferred to Beamish at the start of 2024 and is undergoing work to prepare for an eventual return to service. This has included a repaint into Newcastle Corporation Tramways colours replacing the bright yellow Lisbon livery. Behind 730 is Gateshead 10, another tram which is undergoing a major overhaul with it starting to come to the end of this work ahead of it too being returned to action.
