West Midlands Metro - Millennium Point extension opens


7th April 2026 - just two days after the line opened to the public - and we look down towards Millennium Point stop as 56 waits for departure. The tram destination display shows MILLENNIUM POINT having just arrived from Priestfield (because of a sunken manhole cover on Bilston Road). The crossover that it will use when departing the stop is seen in the middle of the photo.
