Around the World in Trams - The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum 2024 Trolley Fair

The third parade got underway at 1500, and again saw the cars paraded in year of construction order. M210 is a double truck line car used for overhead maintenance built in the Homewood shops of the Pittsburgh Railways during 1940 using salvage from passenger car 4306, a double ended low floor car; and work car M211, the former line car. This car rides on two Standard M25 trucks each of which mounts two Westinghouse 514P traction motors; the controllers are a mixture of K35 and K45 equipment. This car was built to the Pennsylvania Trolley gauge. Ownership of this car passed to the Port of Allegheny Transit Authority (PATransit) as of 1st March 1964, retaining the number M210. PATransit retired M210 during 1995 and it was acquired by the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum.
