East Anglia Transport Museum - Seaside Special 12th & 13th July 2025

Built in 1935 as just a normal enclosed trolleybus, Bournemouth 202 became an open topper in 1958 when it was one of three to be so converted. Its now the last of these surviving and is the oldest open top trolleybus still in use anywhere in the world. Having enjoyed a repaint earlier this year the trolleybus is seen in this view just about to turn towards us as it makes its way around the trolleybus route.
