Edinburgh Trams - June 2025 |
We take a trip to the only currently operating tramway in Scotland - Edinburgh Trams. In this collection we view the CAF trams in operation at various locations across the complete route from Edinburgh Airport to Newhaven and places in between!
There is no doubt that Edinburgh Trams has firmly embraced adverts with 16 of the fleet now having what can be termed full wraps whilst another 10 have partial advertising liveries where not the complete tram is covered. With adverts you would expect there to be plenty of variety but at the moment 10 trams have identical wraps for Emirates whilst another six advertise C R Smith (although not all are identical). During this four day stay we see 25 of the 27 trams which make up the Edinburgh Trams fleet. The only ones missing are 255 (Emirates advert) and 262 (stripped on vinyls), with the latter out of action after being hit by a lorry in May 2025. |
