![]() The old layout at Bispham on 4th September 2006 with Brush 630 being used for evening specials. As the tram waits its next duty - which will be a southbound service, probably to Pleasure Beach - we see it in its Karting 2000 advertising livery. This is another tram which had a long association with one advertiser - this particular design was first applied in June 1998 and would stay until May 2007 before being replaced with another style for the Go-Karting company, who ended up having to move from Starr Gate to South Pier to allow tram depot construction works - it has since closed at its new location. The advert remained in place until October 2011 when it was repainted into green and cream ahead of its move to Crich which is where it can be found today (although did have a trip back "home" to Blackpool in 2017 for the 80th anniversary of the class). |
