The centre track at Cabin was often a good place to see trams in use on specials and that is where we are for the third time our of four so far in this collection! This time we see Ex-Towing Railcoach 680 which will soon run on 4th September 2006 to Sandcastle and Pleasure Beach. This advert for the Merrie England Bar on North Pier always had a bit of an unfinished look with the ends devoid of any promotional writing. It would end up being its last ever advert, being carried between July 2006 and October 2007. Now owned by the Manchester Transport Museum Society it has operated in preservation at Beamish, Heaton Park and is now back in Blackpool on loan, although last ran in 2023.
