20 Photos of... Blackpool Tramway - September 2006

More sunshine on 9th September 2006 and Brush 631 is out on specials when captured on the centre line at North Pier - another layout which is no longer with us. The advert for the Laughing Donkey Family Bar on South Pier would be with us for five seasons between May 2003 and June 2007 before it was replaced by its last advertising contract for Walls Ice Cream. 631 is one of three heavily refurbished Brush Cars and is the sole representative of those still in Blackpool. It remains at Rigby Road Depot and in 2024 was the single deck Railcoach of choice for service, running right up until services came to an abrupt halt.
