With pleasant weather on 8th September 2006 Boat 602 was out on evening specials and is seen in this photo just before 2015 at Pleasure Beach having just terminated. Passengers now start to get off after a journey along the Prom. The tram would stay out for a while yet and was also seen after 2200 working a Bispham to Pleasure Beach special. At this time 602 retained its Handybus yellow and black livery. Mow renumbered 227 the tram remains at Rigby Road and did run in 2024 before the suspension of heritage services.
