West Midlands Metro - 2023 & 2024

Local Wolverhampton (and the surrounding area) amateur Ian Hughes has spent the past few years capturing images of everything happening in the area - including the West Midlands Metro tram network which has, of course, seen recent expansion with the opening of the Wolverhampton Railway Station extension in September 2023.

In this collection we take a look at a small selection of Ian's images which come from the point of view of a photographer and not necessarily just concentrating on the trams allowing unique viewpoints and shots to be captured. All were taken in 2023 and 2024.
