 The old and the new in Wolverhampton. West Midlands Metro's Urbos100 40 passes the Queen's Building as it approaches Piper's Row (and Wolverhampton Bus Station). The Queen's Building is a grade II listed building and was built in 1849 as the carriage entrance to Wolverhampton Railway Station - opening three years before the station did. Amongst other uses it is now home to the Central Community Shop. |
