We round this collection up at Broadway as 1024 approaches the stop on its way to Eccles. In the background we can just see a M5000 on the MediaCityUK branch. 1024 arrived in Manchester just four days before services began on 2nd April 1992 and would run with passengers for the first time on 22nd May 1992. It would remain operational until 10th August 2013 (less than a month after this photo was taken on 19th July 2013) and would move to Long Marston on 30th July 2014. It had been one of the trams to be secured by UKTram for testing purporses but was moved to Ilkeston for scrapping in August 2022.
