On 5th September 2007 1015 - one of the T68s which received modifications to allow it to travel onto the Eccles line alongside the T68As - has just departed from G-Mex (as it was then called ahead of its rebuild and rebrand to Deansgate Castlefield). Named "BURMA STAR" the tram is working to Eccles. 1015 is now scrapped but originally arrived in Manchester on 27th March 1992 before it entered service on 2nd July 1992. Just over 20 years later on 20th September 2012 came withdrawal before it was moved to Rotherham for scrapping on 24th July 2014.
