20 Photos of... Manchester Metrolink T68s

A warm and sunny 19th July 2013 and we're on the Eccles line to see 1007 having just left Salford Quays on its way back to Piccadilly. Although it looks a little dirty its "EAST LANCASHIRE RAILWAY" name stickers still stand out. 1007 was delivered to Queens Road Depot on 4th December 1991 and entered service on 6th April 1992. It was one of the last to be officially withdrawn on 10th February 2014 and is the only tram of the class which remains on Metrolink property. Its stored at Trafford Depot having been preserved by the Manchester Transport Museum Society for eventual movement to the Heaton Park Tramway.
