 1006 is carrying name advertising for Vans when its seen having just departed from Piccadilly bound for MediaCityUK on 11th April 2012. The tram only had just over four months of running at this point as it was to be withdrawn on 30th August 2012. It had originally been the second late Christmas present for Metrolink in 1991 when it came on 29th December and was another to run on day one, 6th April 1992. It went for scrapping on 13th June 2014. |
