The contest in 2010 was one of those years where any of the nominated trams could easily have won it easily in another year but in the end it was Liverpool 762 which proved most popular. With 344 votes (45%) the tram had been shortlisted after its succesful loan period in Blackpool for the 125th anniversary of the tram. 762's victory was the first for a tram from the Wirral Heritage Tramway and the first time that something had won for a loan spell. During its loan we see the tram at Pleasure Beach on 23rd September 2010.
