 The early 2010s saw a massive increase in tram loans and so it was in 2011 that for the second year in a row a tram won the contest for that very reason. This time it was Blackpool Marton VAMBAC 11 which spent a period at Beamish - its first visit away from the East Anglia Transport Museum since restoration. The weather may have been wet when we see the tram at Foulbridge on 3rd September 2011 but that doesn't take away from the stunning tram. Photograph by Gareth Prior |
