![]() The first winner of Tram of the Year was Leeds 602. Returned to service after a number of years out of use in time for the Tramathon event which took place at Crich in June 2003 it received 36% (of the admittedly low number) of votes in that first year. Not out of service and on display in the Great Exhibition Hall the tram is incredibly the only traditional tram to have the won the award to not still be active today.
