 24th July saw the use of 34 hauling a trailer. 34 was originally built as a replica locomotive for the Snaefell Mountain Railway in 1995 but was converted to be a dedicated Works Car for the Manx Electric Railway in 2003/4. It has recently been through the workshops for attention and was returned to action in time for the events and away from its mundane works duties was used to haul passenger trailers. At Laxey Station we see 34 and trailer 49. |
