Beamish Tramway - Fares Please! May 2023

Foulbridge was very much the centre of operations with it being where the buses were parked when not in use. That's where we are again with Newcastle 114 on the far side of the photo. Closer to us is open top Leyland Atlantean which was new to Newcastle in 1966 before being rebuilt as an open topper in 1974 for use in South Shields. Now preserved - after a spell in Ireland - it was repainted in this Queen's Silver Jubilee livery last year.
