Beamish Tramway - Fares Please! May 2023


Union flags hang from the windows of the houses in the town to celebrate the Coronation as Sunderland 16 pauses to wait for space to pull forward to the main stop within the 1900s town. 16 was originally an open topper when built by Dick, Kerr & Co in 1900 but by the 1920s had become fully enclosed and its that latter condition that the tram was restored in when launched at Beamish in 2003.
