The second nominee for the British Trams Online Tram (Traditional) of the Year also comes from Blackpool and is the Illuminated Frigate. Having been taken out of service following the 2019 illuminations for some workshop attention the work was delayed but the tram did return to service in September 2020 looking almost as good as new with all its lights shining brightly once again. This photo shows the Frigate on its first illumination tour back approaching Cabin on 26th September 2020.
