Friday 18th January saw the third of West Midlands Metro's Urbos 3 trams named with the sole WMM blue liveried example receiving the name Cyrille Regis MBE 1958-2018 after the trailblazing footballer who is considered a legend at West Bromwich Albion as well as playing at many other clubs in his career. After the naming ceremony at the depot 31 took the specially invited guests to The Hawthorns where they left the tram to head off to the nearby football ground. That is when we see the tram showing off the name and silouhette image of Cyrille celebrating a goal plus the special destination display CYRILLE REGIS MBE.
