 Friday 7th September was the big anniversary day of the Manx Electric Railway which included a Cavalcade and intensive service using every available tram. This view shows one of the original remaining trams - 2 hauling trailer 59 towards the end of its journey to Derby Castle in the late afternoon. For the trailer this was its first day back after overhaul and repaint and what a sight it is in the original Blue and Ivory livery. Photograph by Gareth Prior |
