Saturday 5th May saw Stockport 5 make a trip to its home town for display during the Stockport Community Rail Festival, giving the public the first big chance to see the latest progress on the overhaul of the popular open top tram. Once the day was over 5 headed back to its normal home at the Heaton Park Tramway and after unloading was shunted back into the depot, firstly by Manchester 765 with the job then completed by Hull 96. It is the latter tram we see here propelling Stockport 5 into Middleton Road Depot.
