The next nominee for the Tram of the Year (Traditional) is Douglas Bay Horse Tramway 36. Having undergone a high quality and extensive restoration - with much of the work taking place at the nearby Derby Castle workshops of the Manx Electric Railway - 36 returned to service on the very last day of the 2017 operating season, 5th November, as part of the five tram cavalcade and will be a key part of the operational fleet in 2018. We see the tram here at Derby Castle on 5th November 2017 ahead of its first use of the year.
