 On Wednesday 18th October a tram returned to its home town with Birkenhead horse car 7 being delivered to the Taylor Street home of the Merseyside Tramway Preservation Society where it will go on display. Despite appearances in this photo the tram is in fact a double decker and was previously displayed at Woodside Ferry. We see 7 on the back of the lorry as it arrives at its new home.
