It has been a while since we had a modern tram on the front page but we rectify that this week as we head to Edinburgh for an image of one of the newly adorned C R Smith adverted trams. This is 259. As reported C R Smith have signed a two year deal to advertise on 18 of the CAF built trams with 259 one of the first two to receive designs. Unlike other trams in the UK Edinburgh Trams have not gone down the line of complete vinyl wrap liveries with just the third and fifth sections (which don't actually have any seats as this is where the luggage areas are) seeing full height ads, which does mean that a traditional three quarter view photo doesn't necessarily give the full effect of the advert! But here is 259 at Gyle Centre on 12th August 2017 at Gyle Centre showing off its new style.
