| Gallery 963: Around the World in Trams Special - Western Railway Museum, Rio Vista |
 This photo shows San Francisco Municipal Railway 1153 - a 1946 built PCC car which started its operating career for the St Louis Publuc Service Company, numbered 1742. This was one of 69 cars which were obtained on a lease agreement by San Francisco. Entering service in 1957 it remained in service in San Francisco until the 1980s when it was replaced by Boeing LRVs. It arrived at the Western Railway Museum in October 1982. |
