Gallery 956: West Midlands Metro - 14th July 2021 |
In this set of photos we take a trip to the West Midlands for a varied selection of photos showing both construction works in Wolverhampton and Birmingham City Centres as well as some shots of trams at Wolverhampton St George's and at a few different locations in Birmingham.
We start off the collection in Wolverhampton City Centre where we see some work taking place towards the railway station in preparation for the last sections of tramway to be put down before our photographer walks along the route seeing the already laid track and intermediate stop at the bus station. After a brief interlude at St George's the tram takes us to Birmingham. Its then time for another walk, this time along the Birmingham Westside extension between Library and Hagley Road. And we then conclude with a few shots of trams along Corporation Street. |
