Gallery 954: Picture in Time Special - Midland Metro 2008 & 2009

Its back into the archives for this photo collection as we look at Midland Metro in 2008 and 2009. The system at this time was still running on its original alignment between Birmingham Snow Hill and Wolverhampton St George's with its fleet of T69 trams. There were only 15 T69s at this time though as 01 has been withdrawn in 2006 and by the end of the second year we include here 02 would join the withdrawals. The Silver and Magenta Network West Midlands livery starts to make an appearance in these photos as well with 05, 07, 09 and 10 all seen in the new livery. Photographer: Gareth Prior
